How these figures work
- Each day's figure is the average of every open UK forecourt's price at the end of that day (UK time), for standard diesel (B7) and unleaded petrol (E10).
- A day is shown only when we have that day's price for at least half of today's forecourts.
- We started recording on 7 November 2026, so the history grows every day. Prices come from the UK Government Fuel Finder scheme, which every UK forecourt reports to.
